Introduction to Farmland Investing in Madagascar

Why Madagascar Farmland?

Growth

Being an emerging market with a very positive demographic trend, farmland in Madagascar is likely to increase in price by many factors over the next 10-20-30 years. This is due to the increase in demand for farmland and food in general, which will come about as a result of a growing population.

Passive Income

Madagascar Farmland Trust offers a unique concept in Madagascar, which enables you to own farmland and earn passive income from that farmland without having to even pick up a shovel. Madagascar Farmland Trust will take care of the entire operational handling of your farm, and simply deposit the dividends into your bank account.

Diversification

As a savvy investor, you probably have investments in various different sectors, and you understand the concept of diversifying your assets to spread your risk. An investment in Madagascar Farmland Trust represents a non-correlated asset, which is not likely to be affected when other traditional investments such as stocks or bonds move up or down.

Inflation-Hedging

Agricultural land has historically acted as a natural hedge against inflation. As the cost of food and commodities rises, farmland values and crop revenues typically follow. Owning productive land in Madagascar helps protect purchasing power and preserve real value when currencies and financial markets face inflationary pressure.

Generational Wealth

Farmland is a long-term, tangible asset designed to outlive short market cycles. By owning productive land and benefiting from annual income and land appreciation, investors can build an enduring asset base that can be passed on to future generations—transferring both financial value and long-term security.

Sustainability

An investment with Madagascar Farmland Trust is an investment into our planet’s future. Our investments are eco-friendly and sustainable for the environment, and contribute to the reforestation and food security improvement efforts in Madagascar.

What Sets Madagascar Farmland Apart?

1) Madagascar has some of the most affordable agricultural land prices in the world.

2) As an emerging market, Madagascar farmland offers the potential for massive land value appreciation.

3) The climate in Madagascar is conducive to year-round agriculture.

4) Your farmland investment has the potential to produce ongoing annual dividend payouts

5) Investments are managed by an expert team with distinct knowledge of local agriculture and investing

Farmland Investments vs. Other Asset Classes

Farmland as an asset has traditionally outperformed most other asset classes. This is because farmland provides not only growth in property evaluation over time as a farm property is developed, but also the potential for ongoing dividend payouts. When it comes to emerging market farmland, like the farmland found in Madagascar, the potential for growth is even higher.

Returns on your farmland investment are generated in two ways: dividend income and property appreciation.

When you purchase a hectare of bare land, Madagascar Invest will turn your plot into a productive piece of farmland.

Once we have planted trees on your property and installed the necessary infrastructure, your property will already go up in value. And this appreciation will compound over time.

Furthermore, as a farm owner, you will receive regular dividend payments from your farms profits, directly into your bank account.

If and when you choose to sell your farm property, it will be sold at the market price at the time of the sale, and all profits from the sale of the property will be disbursed to you.

Dividend payouts are made on an annual basis in the month of January.

Dividends from your farm will be calculated transparently, and will be disbursed directly to your bank account of choice.
