Thomas was born in Denmark and moved to Madagascar in 2016 to work in the field of sustainable development for a non-governmental organization. He witnessed the futilty of many well-meaning charitable projects due to bureaucracy and other obstacles, and founded Madagascar Invest with the mission to help the development of Madagascar through foreign investment.
